Another 16" turkey feather adorned with a perched Barn Owl painted by hand. These birds are hauntingly beautiful, with a terrifying cry. Folklore around them is wild. They're a wonderful beneficial species though, and now threatened in Ohio due to loss of habitat and use of chemicals in agriculture.
